More YOW!!!!
All of The bands from The Rauls era were our rivels.....we hated Austin and they hated Dallas, but we still played eachothers towns.Actually there were some Austin bands that we listened too..Terminal Mind, they were so good how could you not listen to them& who cared where they were from! The Skunks we liked their Cheap Girl song, and The Huns...but we dare not let them know that we carried any respect for their music at all ,hey it would have thrown everything out of whack. So our Band Rivelry continued on.I would later move to Austin for a summer in 82,I really didn't see much of the old rivals now there were all kinds of new bands,Toxic Shock,The Big Boys,The Dicks...ands tons more.Austin had a really booming scene. You 'd go down to Sixth Street at night and it was hoppin...there  was every kind of music you could think of in downtown Austin. The Ritz(an old movie theatre) was were all the locals played&Clubfoot was the big venue to play that summer I saw some great shows there, but my favorite was Killing Joke. The crowd started to get out of control so management decided to pull the plug on the band, and the fuckin crowd went apeshit, just about caused a riot.well someone plugged em back in .But you could feel the floor ,it was like a heard of Buffalo,I am sure that club sustained structurial DAMAGE!!! Killing Joke was great!                                     Erin
